this gave me goosebumps. (gracias Rachel McCord)
today our professor let us sit in the wood shop (which has windows near the roof) with the lights out and listen to the rain. I loved it.
This morning I was so encouraged. At chapel Professor Birding spoke on returning to your first love. He started with some very challenging questions, and boldly made his way through the sermon. At the end he invited people to come up to the giant empty space between the bleachers and to re-give their hearts to God, and to return to their first love. I began to cry as students slowly started filling in that empty space, on their knees before Christ, a running back of sorts, to the Author and prefector, the true Lover of their souls. It was a beautiful thing. Then I got the extreme pleasure of getting to pray over them, in specific I prayed over one girl, and her heart hearts cry was a great encouragement to me. Thank you God for this beautiful day, help us to run back to you, and please help us to have you at the center of our affections. We, Love you, Amen.
the girls are some of my precious friends that live below, and they just happened to walk by, shortly after I was thinking of them. Blessing from Jesus, I would say so.
Today was AWESOME!! My friend Kat came over and while she was here I decided to tie a piece of string (that I had bought just for this occasion) around a basket, put a bowl of cookies in the basket and lower down the basket from my fourth story balcony, to any passers by. It was awesomely fun, and I giggled and laughed a lot. Above are some pictures.
